Are they watching me?

Is it just me? Is your spam getting really, really specific?

I kinda freaked when I saw this in my spam folder...I im'd my bff (freaking out) about it, & she said (jokingly, I hope) that they're watching me.

If they are watching me, does that mean that I LOOK over 30? I take care of my skin. I still get carded. Ppl in real life always think I'm younger. I even know someone who celebrated my 30th b-day w/ me, cake & all. And a few weeks ago, told me I had nothing to worry about b/c I wasn't even 30 yet (we were talking about me, Mr. T, & the prospect of any motherhood for me, like ever).

So, how come the internet can't see that?!?!?

OPEN YOUR EYES, INTERNET!!!

it's all about the loopholes, baby.

You know how sometimes you pay a diff price for gas depending on if you pay in cash or use yo plastic?

So, I just found out that Visa and MasterCard explicitly prohibit merchants from charging consumers extra for paying with a credit card. (American Express & Discover don't.)

But all the cards do allow the station to offer a discount for using cash.

So, all they need to do is increase their regular price & give the discount to the ppl who carry green. Sneaky.

lower gas prices feel like blood money in my pocket

Do any of you feel the same way?

Few weeks ago, over $4.00.
Last week, $3.77.
Yesterday, $3.55.
My mom said it's supposed to go down to $3.41 soon.

I feel like this is the gov't.'s way of giving me blood money. My heart sinks everytime I see the prices go down. The lower we fall, I know the more we're going to pay for it later. It's gonna hit us in the gut & I'm afraid some of us won't be able to rise back up.

I knew this would happen. I wanted to blog about this on July 14th. The day Bush overturned that ban on offshore drilling, I felt punched in the stomach. I just felt so sick to my stomach. Like seriously nauseous. I just hoped that we've elected a Congress smart enough to not make his executive order come to fruition.

The very next day, the price of oil per barrel dropped. It's been dropping since. I know it's only dropping cause ppl think that we're gonna be drowning in all the crude oil our lil hearts can take real soon. But that ain't happenin, Charlie.

What's gonna happen when ppl realize that this isn't the solution? It's just gonna skyrocket way past what we thought was high before. The truth is, this country's been spoiled as far as gas prices go for decades now. If ppl think they can't afford gas now, they're gonna be in for a rude awakening when it hits over $8.00 a gallon. That's what I think will happen when ppl realize that offshore drilling's not the end-all to this prob.

Please don't let this congress let us down.

Here's the long & short of it (mostly long, cause c'mon, you know I ramble):

- if (if) there's oil to be found, it will be decades (decades) before we actually got that oil & the price drop from it would be minimal. It would come out to a 2¢ drop, 20 years from now.

- 80% of US produced oil (from US reserves) is from 4 states: LA, TX, AK, & CA. If we wanted to find more, our best best would be the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR).

- Um... do you know what "National Wildlife Refuge" even means? It means, you told those animals that you weren't going to destroy their home for your own evil means.

- If they spent a decade looking/finding/drilling for oil, there's only realistically a year's worth up there. You're gonna destroy the sanctuary for that? Really? Really?

- It is very (very) likely that any oil drilled from ANWR will never be sold in the US. It will be sold off to the highest International bidder (most likely China). (C'mon, ppl, didja forget we're a capitalist society?)
- Currently, we have 500 oil spills in Alaska every year. Yeah, they don't exactly advertise that. You don't think that's gonna decrease when they have more new drilling monstrosities?

- Seismic testing to locate oil creates decibel levels of 260 – twice as loud as an ambulance – underwater. Exposure to these levels of noise underwater can cause disorientation, brain hemorrhaging, or even beaching for whales and dolphins. Only last week over 100 melon-head whales beached off of Madagascar close to where ExxonMobil was conducting seismic testing. (6/19/2008, from Greenpeace website)

Here's a video of a guy who spent 3 months hiking across Alaska, & spent a LOT of time in the ANWR (it's 3½ mins ppl):

What we need is an alternate solution. My main concern is that we will lose track of what's imp: trying to develop alternative renewable energies.

Like this Pickens Plan that this guy T. Boone has.

Here be the plan:

23 positions in a one-night stand?

So you know how R. Kelly got off?

Yeah, that didn't link to what you thought it was gonna link to, eh? You sick, sick ppls! ;)

Anyway, I have a couple thoughts on that.

1- they say one of the main factors is that the girl in the video didn't testify. I'm wondering if anyone's checked for any weird (& extreme) activity in her bank account since this case has arisen. I'm just sayin.

and deux- I think anyone who has that video on their computer should face some sort of child porn charges. Yes, that prob means a few of the ppl who come to this post googling this whole situation.

No, I haven't seen the video. No, I have no plans to ever see the video. And yes, I did just write that in a huffy-pretentious voice.

UPDATE: Ok, I was gonna post a comment, but it turned really long, so I'm just adding it here as a radio edit.

It's absolutely crazy. Kids are having sex at the age of like 12 in suburbs & even younger in inner cities. I've heard this from kids! It's insane & outta control.

I'm so scared for our youth.

The other thing is, I think she was totally willing (as were other teenage girls). And they don't regret it when they're older. It's a "cool thing". And if they did regret it (doubtful), they would never testify against someone so famous that so many ppl love. Some crazy fans would try to stalk/hurt them if Kells ever went to jail.

I was listening to a radio show while in Chi-town one weekend, & there were a couple girls who called in bragging about having slept w/ him a decade ago when they were teens. Who knows if they were legit, or if they were making it up? But regardless, it was seen as a cool experience.

noooooo.......

I'm a good person. I don't turn right on red (like some miscreants). I don't speed (anymore- mainly b/c of gas consumption*). I haven't killed or maimed anyone.

I wanna be economically stimulated. I neeeed to be economically stimulated.

And I swear in return, I'll stimulate the economy. Seriously. I'm good for it. I mean, I've already been stimulating the economy w/out being economically stimulated, so think how much more I can once I am!

*you end up reducing gas consumption by like 33% if you drive at a decent, steady pace. That averages most ppl a savings of like $500 a year! For realsies!

that's how you slap a racist diva

How comes we don't convict racists & bigots here in the US like they do in France?

They mean ill-will & harm to a particular group of ppl. How many ppl die here in the US b/c of their race, religion, gender (transgender), or sexual-orientation? How many are harmed or die, & it goes unreported? It's sickening.

story:
Brigitte Bardot wrote a letter to (then) Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy. In the letter, she provoked discrimination and racial hatred; stating that Muslims are destroying France.

She wrote that France was "tired of being led by the nose by this population that is destroying us, destroying our country by imposing its acts."

Her statements were also published in her foundation's quarterly journal.

France has anti-racism laws that "prevent inciting hatred and discrimination on racial or religious or racial grounds". Bardot has already been convicted four times for this in the past.

am I just too sensitive?

This is kinda a lazy pic post; but there are a few things wrong. So, they're wrong, but I've gotta admit, still a lil funny.

So, for my b-day, I had to re-register my cars. Who says ya don't get anything for $50 now-a-days. Lookit... I got these 2 cute lil black stickers for $100! The lady offered to give me a sticker that doesn't expire til May 2010 for just an extra $50. I declined.

Next up... I got this lovely letter in the mail to remind me that I'm now "of a certain age". Yeah, it's nice to save money, but couldn't they just say that they're giving me a refund b/c my "hair's a bit longer"? Or, b/c they're excited that shrugs are no longer in style?

I trust there's one on the way to me for my 2007 Corolla too?
~fingers crossed~

And last up, I saw this on one of my MyYahoo! pages. I have multiple MyYahoo pages set up by categories. Anyway, I thought this was a lil inappropriate.

killin any chance of me on Amer. Idol

Ok, so... not exactly thrilled about this one. But here's another Conversations in Real life involving my dad.

Let me 1st say that I haven't been completely there this past week. Starting last Tues, I've been super-spinny. Yeah, that's not exactly a technical term, eh? Well, I've been so dizzy that I actually got out of bed last Tues, & just fell to the ground!!! Like, couldn't even stand up.

It was like Bambi, but on an acid trip. The whole room just spinning around. That was all day last Tues. I didn't go to work that day or the next (last Wed.).

Then, Thursday, I kinda had to go to work, so I did. But I called my ppl (uh, that's Kaiser, they have these 24-hour advice nurses to take calls) to see what they thought. They wanted me to come in to get looked at.

Of course they did; that's their racket, ya know?! They just wanna get you through the door, just like every other corporation. I told them "no way, no how!"

My sister was having a HUMONGO party on Sat in Detroit, & there was no way I was missing it.

The advice-nurse kept insisting, saying it would only be a quick 30-min diagnosis. They thought I prob had Vertigo. I explained to her that the last time they told me to come in for a quick 30-min diagnosis (for a migraine), I ended up getting admitted for 5 days (for viral meningitis). So, I wasn't coming in until I got back from this party, & we could set up an appointment for next week.

Which we did, & I went to it yesterday, & I do have Vertigo, & they gave me a prescription. And as I'm typing this, I am SOOOO dizzy & light-headed; & feel like I should go lay down.

Ok, back to the post. When I'm not feeling well, I like to stay at my mom's house. Yes, clichéd. But that's me. My mom treats me well, & I can watch Ellen with her during the day.

So, to set the scene, I was at my parent's last night watching American Idol. And they were naming all the things the American Idol winner gets.

Pappa: Whoa, If only D could sing! Then, we could put her up in American Idol & she could try to win it. It's too bad she isn't that talented.

My mom: It doesn’t matter anyway, she could NEVER go to American Idol, even if she could sing!

Pappa: Why not?

Ma: Cause she's way too old. They have an age limit to that, you know.

Pappa: Oh.
Uh.... WAHAT!! I'm sitting right here ppl! While they're discussing my inability to sing & how old I've become.

So, long story coming to an end (can't really say "long story, short", eh?), I'm sleeping at my own house tonight. For the 1st time in over a week.

my life as a fairy-tale*, & fairy-tale randomness

*obviously not a happy fairy tale, but a morbid, sad one.

I'm going to my parent's house tonight. It feels like I haven't been there in a while; & I know my ma wants to see me. She'd gotten used to seeing me 2-3 times a week. & now that I've moved to the east-side, she's only seen me twice in the last month (both times cause I had to go home to take care of my taxes).

Plus, I get my sunglasses back. I left them there a week ago when I went to do my taxes; & of course it's been sunny everyday since, even on the rain-days.

Which brings me to the reason for this post... I've been leaving things everywhere.

I left my sunglasses at my parent's house. Left my lil pill bottle (with Advil, Tylenol, etc.) at Mr. T's house. Lost my black cosmetics case who knows where?!!? I guess I'll hunt around when I'm at my parent's tonight, but can't imagine where else it can possibly be.

If it's not there, I'm just afraid I might have been at a counter somewhere, & pulled it to set on the counter while I got my wallet out to pay. Then, just forgot to put it back in. I kept everything I always need with me in that black cosmetic case. B/c I change purses so often, I just keep everything in that or in my wallet. Then, when swapping bags, I just need to grab 2 things outta one & into the other.

Bing-Bam-Boom. Done.

But I've obviously just been leaving things everywhere. It makes me wonder if I'm subconsciously leaving all these lost objects here & there like a trail for me to go back to; like in Hansel & Gretel ;)

------------------------------------------

In other fairy-tale news, I really wanna go see Penelope. One of my MySpace friends** saw it & I asked her if she just loved it; of course she did & said I would too. Actually, what she said was that she'd seen it 3 times & that all women who value fairy-tales should see it. Um.... that's totally ME!

**I call her my MySpace friend b/c although I've hung out with her before in real life, I've had more conversations with her via MySpace than in real life. I think I had her phone number at one point, but not anymore, so I think MySpace really is the only way I can even contact her directly.
------------------------------------------

I do love fairy tales. It's weird that I can't really watch horror movies or read like Stephen King books or anything like that; but I'll totally read the most horrifying fairy tales. Like the Brothers Grimm stuff? Or, some old Indian tales? Some of them are so vicious & violent.

------------------------------------------

The last tidbit of randomness for the day? I've had that song, "How do you solve a problem like Maria?" from The Sound of Music running through my head all day today.

Dear Yahoo & TJ Maxx,

Why do you hate me?

Don't you know I'm trying here!

I've overcome my addiction.

All I've ever done is love you both.

I don't know why you're ganging up on me like this.

I've never done either of you wrong!

I now have the decorum of an East-sider

Well, I've moved. I'm now an east-sider, & I walk to work (most days). I haven't really unpacked most of my stuff yet. I just don't have the motivation to.

I want to see ppl. I want to be surrounded by the ppl I care about. I think it's because I feel somewhat isolated. I remember when I lived on the west-side, & ppl would ask me to come over to the east-side for something, & I would decline.

I would say things like:
"well, if it wasn't on the east-side, I'd totally be there".

Like that was my valid excuse?!?! It seems a lil ridiculous to me now, as an east-sider to think that I said that. But I did, & didn't think anything wrong with it.

Sometimes, I really don't think about what I say, huh?

In other news, I finally bought new rechargeable batteries for my digi-cam, so I'll be posting pics once again. Yea!

the peg-leg wants to be a priest.

Hello, can you say “Delusions of Grandeur”? This is insane!

Did you guys see that Sir Paul’s lawyer left court with her head all wet b/c Heather Mills dumped a glass of water on her?!?! She told reporters that she was "baptized in court". Uh...
♬♪♫ crazy ♬♪♫

Anyway, I think we all know from my previous post that I was no fan of hers from the onslaught. But it does irritate me how some women* marry a rich man for a few years, & then feel entitled to a ton of money. [ * I ain't sayin she's a gold-digga, but she ain't messin w/ no broke.... ]

Now, I can understand if they were married for a long time (10-30 yrs). In many cases, they struggled to make it happen before one of them got their break. But they BOTH went through that, & relied on each other to get to that point.

But c'mon now peggy, you can't be serious. I'm sick of ppl saying that they've "acclimated" to a lifestyle. Please! It was 4 years! If you lived your whole life with 2 legs & then one is taken away from you, you simply adapt, & learn to deal with having a peg-leg attached to you. You ADAPT.

Peggy's getting paid. And their child gets $70,000 a year, plus Sir Paul pays her school & nanny fees. And seriously, she said it was a "paltry amount" & "She's obviously meant to travel B class while her father travels A class". Yeah, peggy, obviously.

We all know how much Sir Paul cares about his kids, & I highly doubt he would trivialize anything for any of them. This whole thing is so ridiculous.

Why is it annoying me SO incredibly much, you ask? It's because when they 1st met & got married, he thought she was it. But it turned out she wasn't. I'm having issues with that. How does anyone know when someone is it? Esp when you find out they're not? You try to keep faith & believe, but I don't think Sir Paul's gonna open his heart again to another woman ever.

And the thought of any person doing that makes me sad.

displaced by the displaced

Well, it's official. The homeless ppl are movin into my apt, & I'm out.

I thought I'd take a min to tell you about my old apt. It was the 2nd floor of a house that overlooked Edgewater Park & Lake Erie. I had a front balcony from the living room, so I spent a TON of time out there watching the beauty in front of me.

The trees, the lake, the greenery. The changing of the colors, & eventually, the snow shimmering down on it all. I remember one night recently, everyone woke up to everything being covered in this light, glittery snow.

Except me. Cause I was up & out on my balcony from 3:30 am watching it all come down, flake by flake. I've been having trouble sleeping lately, so I was just up & went out there to watch it come down. It wasn't freezing cold, so my down jacket (hat & gloves) kept me toasty warm.

I'm gonna miss that.

It was hardwood flooring, w/ real woodwork & trim everywhere. There were some built-in shelves w/ these delicate glass doors on them (to keep out dust). And the glass was BEVELED! In the dining room, there was a lil sitting area under the windows, & shelves underneath. 2 nice-sized bedrooms.

It's fine though. Everything happens for a reason. I'm about to move to the East-side, just to the top of the hill at Little Italy. I've only ever lived on the West-side (over 20-odd years). Maybe I need to be away from everything I've ever known for a while.

Evicted by the homeless

Ok, so maybe I do tend to exaggerate sometimes. Whatev.

Here’s the deallio. I was thinking of moving into a 2-bedroom place with someone, so I told mees* landlord that I’d be moving on out. I love my place, but just can’t afford to live there alone, so I’m moving in with someone so that I can afford to also pay for other stuff than just rent. (my landlord doesn’t allow pets, hence lookin for a new place).

[*mees is Irish for my. I figured since St. Patty's day is upon us...]

Well, we were in a time crunch b/c we needed to find a place by next Friday. She had a backup plan, but we were really hoping to live together. I'd been searchin, but just couldn't find a decent place.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch....
My landlord had made an appointment with this couple to show them my apt on Sat. But because of the snow-storm, they ended up canceling. They re-scheduled to Tuesday, but cancelled that as well b/c the woman had fell during the snow-storm & had what my landlord called a "medical emergency". (In quotes, b/c I think he's exaggerating).

Yesterday, b/c of the time crunch we're under, my friend & I decide to forget about finding a new place together. She's just gonna go with her back-up, & I'm gonna stay at my place. Maybe look for a new roommate to move in with me.

So, I call my landlord to tell him not to show the house, that I'm stayin. I figured it was FATE that no one got to see the place yet.

He pauses & sighs & then tells me that he feels that he should give these ppl 1st dibbs on my apt! I'm like, "WHAT!?!??", can't you just tell them that I'm staying so it's not available anymore? He continues & says "Well, the thing is that they had to cancel b/c of the storm & then a medical emergency". I didn't think this was a valid reason, b/c I re-scheduled seeing a 2-bedroom, 2-bath (with a Jacuzzi!), & 2 car garage house b/c of the storm, & 2 hours before going to see it, the dude called me up & left me a voicemail not to bother b/c someone just signed a lease!

So, I figured that was acceptable Modus Operandi for landlordy-ppl.

He simply hems & haws some more, & eventually tells me that he never listed the place b/c he had set this up with this couple, & uh.... they're HOMELESS!!!!

uh..... WHAT!?!??!!??

"Yeah," he says, "I was talking to this couple & they were telling me that they were looking for a place, & I described the place that you have & that it was about to be available, & they said they DEFINITELY want it. They were just going to look at it first, but they said they definitely wanted to take it. They're even willing to pay more rent for it than you pay now."

Let me tell you, I just love that my landlord doesn't care about credit checks. He doesn't believe in them, he says, so he only does criminal history checks. Uh.... maybe that's why I'm the only tenant he has that pays rent on time.

So, hopefully, soon I find out if these ppl are definitely gonna take my place. Once they see it to confirm with him. I do have a friend I'm going to move in with if they take it. My friend's got like a 4-bedroom house, with 3 empty rooms (soon). So, I'll live there.

B/c it's just bad karma to hope that a homeless couple don't get your apt.

Isn't it?

stupid crackerjack crackhead

So, TIoP just posted that MSNBC finally canceled that stupid Cracker-Jack Crack-head's show.

Thank GOD for small favors, huh? You remember Tucker Carlson, don't cha? Here's the post where I got super-mad at him:

And here's my post just after that to self-promote:

snowed in

So, I'm kinda bummed. Was really excited about going to a pre-show party tonight for Red {an orchestra}. My good friend & I had gotten tics to this Cool Cleveland party before the show. It was an open bar w/ appetizers catered by another friend of ours (who owns Gypsy Beans & does the yummiest catering). So, we were pretty psyched* about it.

Red {an orchestra} was doing a night of movie music....

BERNARD HERRMANN: MORE THAN THE MOVIES | 3.8.08

Red's sixth season comes to an exciting conclusion with a concert featuring the music of film composer Bernard Herrmann, whose scores for classic films of Alfred Hitchcock--Vertigo, North By Northwest and Psycho--are unmatched in their distinctive style. His style as a film composer, keen psychological atmospheres made with simple means, was formed in his concert music. His early pieces in the manner of his idol, Arnold Schoenberg, matured as he worked in radio and then Hollywood, his ambition remaining high, even as his film music eclipsed all other efforts. In this unique program, film clips featuring Herrmann's Hollywood music mingle with a suite from Psycho, and work from his time in the 1930s at CBS Radio. The highlight of the program is a group of excerpts from his unproduced opera, Wuthering Heights, perhaps the greatest unknown opera in the history of American music.

Sounds cool, huh? I KNOW! I was really looking forward to it, but just hoping now that they may reschedule. I mean, they've all been rehearsing for this show for a few weeks, I'm sure.

So, they were planning on doing a bunch of pieces that composer Bernard Herrmann did for Alfred Hitchcock's movies, but they were going to do excerpts from an unproduced piece too?!?!?! Seriously?!

They HAVE to reschedule!

Oh, did I mention the reason everything's cancelled? B/c of the winter storm. We were so ready to brave it. I went out there to my car. The snow drifts are 3 to 4 feet, I made it to the garage w/ the help of my trusty snow shovel. Then I opened the garage door......

Yeah, that wasn't gonna happen. No way my Corolla's makin it out of the garage. So, I call my girl to see what it's like where she is, cause I can make it to the end of the street w/ my snow shovel. She gets outside, & makes it as far as the end of the street....

No more.

Dude, you've gotta give us credit for tryin though. So, we're on the phone figuring out that this is just not gonna happen for us tonight, & go back into our respective homes. I get upstairs & turn on the news, & see that in some counties, the police are actually fining/ticketing ppl who are out on the street if it's not an emergency!

*do ppl still say psyched?

I'm channeling cantaloupes

Hi everyone. Yes, I'm still here. Sorry I've been all absent & stuff. Just a lot going on. I always have 10 days off work from just before Christmas to January 2nd every year, but guess what? This year, I spent much of that time all sick. Yuk.

That's the worst; well, for me anyway. I've told y'all before how I'm super-busy at work from November to March. Like, so crazy busy I have NO time for anything. Well, I look forward all year to that lil break I get at the end of December so that I can have my normal life back, & of course this year, I was all sick for the entire period.

Also, major life-changing news in my life: Mr. T & I broke up. This really is life-changing. We weren't just bf/gf; we were s'posed to get all married & stuff (this upcoming October). We'd been together for about half-a-decade. That's a long time to be that close to a person. There really wasn't anything we didn't share with each other. So, it's kinda weird when something happens & the person you normally tell that thing to just isn't the person you can still tell it to.

Yes, I'm still ending sentences in prepositions. Oh, & talkin about 'tions, I still haven't made a New Year's resolution yet. Although in my defense, I've been sayin 'yo' more often than I've changed my underwear so far this year.

Yeah, I know... it's hot.

Ok, so what else....? OH- Guess what comes along with a huge break-up? More hot-stuff... zits! Yeah, I've gotten one zit after another. And so now, I've got myself a binary-zit. That's when 2 zits decide to orbit around each other. And lucky me, it's right on my cheek!

I know.... hot.

I put up a pic of a cantaloupe, b/c I know that the FCC would fine me if I put up a pic of my binary zit. It's about time for them to make an example of someone to keep us in line; & I just don't have an extra $300,000 lying around, ya know?

So, I was thinking of my whole one zit after another complex I'm going through right now, & I thought of something. You know how everyone likes melons? No, seriously, there's a melon out there for everyone. I myself LOVE all melon, but I think honeydews my fave. Santa Claus is cool too, but you have to be in the mood for it cause it's so sweet. But I do love all melon.

Well, I was thinking of pick-up lines from guys (b/c all guys have them, & most are NOT creative). And thinking of melon. And it hit me! Why can't a guy who loves melons (99.9% of guys) also love zits on chicks?

Like, why won't a guy come up to me & be all like:

Damn girl! That sexy thing on yo face reminds me of cantaloupe, & I've gots ta get me sum cantaloupe! I just wanna lick it!
But nooooo, I'm not hearing that. Weird, huh?

Oh, & this post is dedicated to Jen, who's been asking me for months to update. Holla!

Photo Friday: Travel

Trust me folks, I've done y'all a favor by not posting recently. Nothing exciting to report. I got a speeding ticket. Hmmm... yup, that's it.

But the current Photo Friday challenge is Travel. And I do love to travel. I love walking into clean, crisp rooms w/ freshly made beds. I like my toilet paper folded to a triangle. And the tissue paper too; but of course being the hopeless OCD-head that I am, I immediately pull out that first one (cause someone had to have touched it for it to get to the triangle shape) & wash my hands w/ a cutie lil soap.

I like collecting the tiny lil shampoos & conditioners. I have exceptional hair (read: high maintenance) that requires that I use only my own shampoos/conditioners. So, I just collect them, & if I get a house-guest, they're getting all kinds of teeny lil toiletries.

My fave place to stay so far has been the Roosevelt Hotel. Yes, that Roosevelt Hotel, where Paris & LiLo sometimes act up at. And yes, I did see some socialites when I was there. But why was it my fave place? The room was amazing & so comfortable, they had orchids on the desk (orchids! I love orchids!). But most of all, they had the most yummiest, heavenly-scented soap. It just smelled so FRESH! I wish I could just buy the soap, or an air-freshener that smelled just like it!

Anyway, back to the PhotoFriday challenge. Although I do love to travel, you never want to get to your destination to see this waiting for you at baggage claim:As always, click here to see other Photo Friday submissions.

hello... glass house anyone?

Oh, you tough football boys crack me UP! Thanks for this, though. I did need a laugh today.

I mean, whatev, maybe they are piping in extraneous noise. I just really don’t think the Pats are in any position to point fingers at any other team right now. Sorry, kids, but you kinda forfeited that right when y’all went shady.

Not that all the football teams aren’t being shady. Cause they’re all pulling something. They are guys, after all.

Now I’ve gotta stay up late to see what Dave’s gonna say about this. Cause Dave films his show around 4-ish, & the story’s out already, & the Colts are his team.

*click on the pic to go to the story. Oh, & ProFootballTalk.com has audio of it.

UPDATE: Dave's in reruns this week due to the Writer's Strike. So, I'll be in bed by 9:30 pm (since I only got about 4 ½ hours last night).
